Preparing for Your Visit
Observing Debates
School groups may be allotted 20 minutes in the Public Gallery to observe debates when the Legislative Assembly is meeting (Parliamentary Calendar).
-
Make sure you book using the 'Tour with Gallery' option if you wish to observe debates as part of your visit.
Please note that Question Period accounts for only 30 minutes of the Legislative Assembly’s daily schedule. Most groups will not see Question Period, but will see the MLAs discussing proposed legislation or reviewing finances.
As the MLAs discuss many important issues, please be aware that sensitive topics may be covered while your group is in the Gallery.
Booking Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email once your request has been processed. Please review to make sure the details of your visit are correct.
