Parliamentary Procedure Workshops for Public Servants

Parliamentary Procedure Workshop

This workshop is intended to provide B.C. Public Servants with a greater understanding of the Parliamentary system of government in British Columbia.

Presentations provide an overview of history of Parliament, parliamentary procedure, the legislative process, and Cabinet decision-making (topics may change depending on the availability of the presenters).

The next sessions will be offered in the fall of 2024.

Please note: This workshop is offered 7 - 8 times per year to 60 people per session. Availability is extremely limited, so we are not accepting group/team requests at this time.

Session Length

Full-day sessions are held at the Legislative Assembly and run from approximately 8:45 am to 4:00 pm.
