Unveiled on May 6, 2015, the Fallen Paramedics Memorial honours the paramedics and ambulance drivers who have lost their lives in the line of duty in British Columbia. It is crafted from granite and depicts the names of fallen paramedics and ambulance drivers.
May 6 is the annual day of remembrance for paramedics.
The Fallen Paramedics Memorial is located on the Legislative Precinct to the east of the back of the Parliament Buildings, along a pathway dedicated to honouring the fallen first responders of British Columbia.
