The daily business of the Legislative Assembly is known as routine business and follows a set pattern every day. What is considered routine business in the Assembly is outlined in the Standing Orders. Such business includes:

- Introduction of Bills
- Two-Minute Statements
- Oral Question Period
- Presenting Petitions
- Presenting Reports by Committees
- Motions on Notice
- Written Questions on Notice
